Our footprint on the planet is at the foundation of our company's values, which leads us to minimise this where possible in all aspects of how we go about our day to day business.

What does that actually mean in practical terms?

The producers that we work with

The materials that we use for our products and packaging

The concept of multi functionality of the products that we design

BAMBOO - Slopes&Town socks, Slopes&Town underwear & Slopes&Town loungeware.

Bamboo is the fastest growing land plant on the planet, the only thing that grows quicker is giant sea kelp in the ocean.

Bamboo absorbs five times more carbon dioxide and produces 35% more oxygen than a similar group of trees.

Bamboo is naturally anti bacterial and anti fungal

Bamboo requires very little water and does not need fertilisers

Bamboo does not need pesticides as it produces a natural toxin "Bamboo Kun" that keeps pests away.

SOME QUALITIES OF BAMBOO CLOTHES ...

Super-absorbent and breathable

Very soft on your skin.

Suitable for all kind of temperature (keep you warm in winter and cool in summer)

Odour-resistant

Our bamboo yarn is OEKO-TEX 100 certified, which means that our clothes are free of harmful chemicals and are completely safe.

RECYCLED BOTTLES POLYESTER Slopes&Town socks, beanies, scarves

In our socks we use  recycled post-consumer-waste PET bottles polyester processed with ReNEW recycling technology, which allows to use less resources (water, energy, etc.) than production of new polyester out of crude oil and, of course, helps to reduce the amount of plastic waste!

ORGANIC COTTON Slopes&Town sweatshirts

Organic cotton does not use harmful pesticides, which is healthier for the farmers and for the planet. It is softer than regular cotton, which makes it ideal for people with sensitive skin or allergies.  it also provides sturdiness in our blended products which is something that bamboo misses. This makes our products more durable, which in turn allows them to last longer, which results in less need to purchase as often and is more friendly to the environment.

 Kraft Paper Slopes&Town packing boxes

Kraft paper is made from wood pulp, a renewable resource, which makes itmore sustainable than other packaging materials. Additionally, kraft paper is biodegradable and can be recycled, which means it has a lower impact on the environment than plastic or Styrofoam packaging.
